This was our tequila lounge — built as a high-energy pocket within the red cocktail.

A space designed to feel darker, louder, and more immersive than the rest of the venue.

Neon-lined arches framed the lounge, with layered reflections and red lighting setting the tone from the first step in.

At the centre, the GROUVIE chandelier dropped down with clustered disco balls — creating movement, sparkle, and a constant play of light across the space.

We introduced wild cat light boxes along the walls to add a graphic, slightly unexpected visual moment — breaking the monotony of red with something sharper and more playful.

The bar experience was built into the styling — with our Charlie holding custom matchboxes, ci******es, and phantom ci******es, turning a functional corner into a full design moment.

Every element here was intentional — from the materials to the lighting — to create a space that people didn’t just pass through, but stayed in.

This was our instant photo booth — designed as a full experience, not just a corner.

We built a Fotoautomatica-style setup so guests could walk in, click, and walk out with printed memories through the night.

The entire space was layered with florals at varying heights, creating depth around the booth instead of a flat backdrop.

Custom poodle installations were placed across different levels to add character, playfulness, and a strong visual identity in every frame.

Neon arches and red lighting tied it back to the cocktail theme, so even the photo strips carried the same mood as the rest of the evening.

A functional element, designed to feel like part of the decor — not separate from it.

The entrance, designed as a transition — not just an entry.

Guests were first met with a full-height candle wall, creating an immediate sense of depth and warmth.

From there, the walkway opened up — framed with linear LED panels on both sides to guide movement and define the axis of the space.

We placed styled consoles along the passage to soften the structure and introduce layered detailing before the main reveal.

At the end of the walkway, the space opens into a seating and meeting point — a pause before the night unfolds — with a clear visual connection into the main cocktail area beyond.

Every element here was designed to control how you enter, move, and experience the space — step by step.

A look at the build before the space came together.

This cocktail night was designed as a fully immersive layout — starting from structural elements like custom arches and ceiling frameworks, to layered draping that defines the entire volume of the venue.

From raw fabrication on site to installing the base grid, every element is mapped out in stages before florals and lighting come in.

What you see here is the foundation — where scale, proportion, and movement are locked in before the final detailing begins.

A first look into the red.

This film was designed and sent out to guests just before the cocktail night — a preview of the space, the palette, and the mood we built for the evening.

Deep red draping, layered ceilings, sculptural florals, and warm ambient lighting — every frame was edited to reflect the intensity and richness of the cocktail theme.
Not just an invite, but a visual introduction to what the night would feel like.

a look at the entry experience and overall spatial planning for the cocktail night.

the entrance was designed as a candle wall installation — a grid structure with approximately 800 glass candles, creating a strong visual moment right at arrival. paired with a bold red door and acrylic-lit walkway, this set the tone for the evening from the very first step in.

the layout then opens into multiple zones:
– a defined photobooth area placed along the entry path for easy access
– a central circulation flow connecting lounge, bar, and main seating
– a welcome seating zone with softer forms and floral clusters to ground the space
– large-scale installations like the deciduous tree and floral elements placed to create focal points without blocking movement

the idea was to balance impact with functionality — ensuring every visual moment also works within the guest flow.

a look at the central design language for the cocktail night — built around scale, drama, and vertical installations.

the space is anchored by a suspended floral installation, designed using invisible stringing to create a cascading effect from ceiling to floor. the intention was to introduce height and movement, while keeping the structure visually light.

complementing this, enlarged tree-like installations were developed with dense red florals and trailing greens, acting as sculptural focal points across the venue.

the bar backdrop was designed with layered draping in deep red tones, adding depth and contrast to the softer neutral base of the space.
each element — from pillar structures to hanging installations — was planned in section, ensuring proportion, balance, and visibility across the venue.

Cocktail Night | Design Breakdown

a closer look at one section of the cocktail night layout — designed as a contained experience within the larger space.

the tequila lounge was planned with built-in seating, arched openings, and a structured layout to create a defined zone without closing it off. the idea was to keep it interactive, while still feeling intentional and contained.
layered within this:

– a custom “grouvie” neon installation with suspended disco elements
– a vintage-style photo booth with panelled detailing and a red curtain interior
– lounge seating and low tables to keep the space functional yet relaxed
– bar extensions with added touchpoints like custom matchboxes and styled service elements

every component is designed individually, but placed to work together — balancing movement, interaction, and visual identity within one section.
