The Global Energy Leaders Summit 2025 was successfully held on 23rd May at Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi, with the support of NITI Aayog and organized by The geef. The summit focused on the theme “Shaping the Future of Energy Transition”, bringing together a distinguished gathering of policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to deliberate on shaping a cleaner, more resilient, and inclusive energy future.

The event featured insightful discussions and expert sessions that addressed critical challenges and opportunities in the energy sector, including renewable integration, sustainable infrastructure, green skills development, and global collaboration. Key speakers included Shri Anil Swarup (Former Secretary, Ministry of Coal and Education), Dr. Sandip Chatterjee (Senior Advisor, SERI), Mr. Somesh Kumar (Partner & Leader, Power & Utilities, EY India), Mr. Jeongick Lee (Hyundai Motor India Ltd.), Mr. Ribi Adeshokan (TBP Energy, UK), Mr. Sunil Jain (Chairman, Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) , and Ms. Geeta Singh (REDstack Energy India).

GAIL Pata not only lays great emphasis on environment in anufacturing plant, but also help the society at large by supplying natural gas for use as industrial, automotive and domestic fuels. Ms. Asha Kartha is the Head of Safety of a 4.5 MT Hot Metal producing Integrated Steel Plant with a licensed manpower of 25300 employees. Ms. Asha Kartha lead the Safety Cultural Transformation in RSP which has reduced the LTIFR from 0.49 in the year 2021-22 to 0.25 in the year 2023-24 and Zero fatal incident in 2023 & 2024. Ms. Asha Kartha has spearheaded numerous safety training programs, ensuring that every employee, both regular as well as contractual from entry-level workers to senior management, is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to handle potential hazards effectively. Through her dedication and leadership, has truly transformed the safety culture at RSP plant. Her ability to influence positive change, coupled with her deep understanding of safety practices, has made a lasting impact on the overall safety and well-being of our workforce. Mr. Srivastava had successfully completed the prestigious underground cabling work for the sub-transmission and distribution network in Old Kashi, one of the oldest cities in the world.
