The government of Jharkhand hosted two days Bamboo Conclave from 18th to 19th September, 2019 to mark the International Bamboo Day. The State Government is committed to established Jharkhand as one of the prime destinations for Bamboo based products, locally, and globally. Fifty Bamboo handicraft artist from Bokaro participated in the Bamboo Artisan Conclave to showcase their art.

These artists use to make essential items from bamboos which are useful in common life, such as table, chair, pen stand, dustbin, book stand including others. It is often seen that these types of objects used in everyday life are mainly made of plastic which is harmful for the environment too. So, we should use these items made of bamboo.

One of the most revered festivals of Sikhs, Guru Nanak Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak ji, the founder of Sikhism, celebrated on November 12, 2019. EvOne of the most revered festivals of Sikhs, Guru Nanak Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak ji, the founder of Sikhism, celebrated on November 12, 2019. Every year the country gears up to see the grand festivities unfold. It is the most important festival for the Sikh community and is celebrated with a lot of devotion and reverence.

It is said that the foundation of Sikhism was laid on a fateful day when Guru Nanak Dev ji went to take a bath in Bein, a rivulet in Punjab. Legend has it that on his return he was in communion with the divine, and eventually introduced the world to the faith of Sikhism. Guru Nanak's words impacted thousands from all walks of life - farmers, politicians, common men, soldiers etc. The Guru carried his divine message all over the country, where Gurudwaras have been set up in his honour.

The journeys that Guru Nanak undertook are called Odysseys or Udaisis. Today, devotees from all over the world follow in his footsteps to take a taste of the divine and be overwhelmed by the same spiritual powers that once inspired the Guru.
