From Biel to the world โ€” India has scripted a Davis Cup chapter for the ages...๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโค๏ธ๐ŸŽพโœ…

India has done it! On the courts of Biel, Team India created history by defeating Switzerland 3โ€“1 in the Davis Cup World Group I tie โ€” our first win against a European nation in Europe since 1993!

Day 2 started with a narrow loss in the doubles, but Indiaโ€™s No.1 Sumit Nagal rose to the occasion once again. With grit and determination, he delivered a memorable singles win to give India the decisive 3โ€“1 lead and seal the tie.

This triumph is more than just a win. It marks Indiaโ€™s return to the global stage in style โ€” booking a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Qualifiers

Thatโ€™s the level where the worldโ€™s best fight for a place in the elite Davis Cup Finals, and India will now be part of that battle.

From Sureshโ€™s fearless debut performance to Nagalโ€™s leadership under pressure, this weekend was a showcase of Indian tennis belief, talent, and unity.

A 32-year wait has ended. A new chapter has begun.
