At Araya Bagh, the ceilings carry the design — a glass roof drawing daylight deep into the halls, lanterns hung in clusters below, warm light against worked surfaces and wrought iron. Between the two, the space is never lit the same way twice.

In the early hours it is gentle - the sun easing through the jaali, casting slow patterns that shift across the floor as you watch. Later it deepens, warming the arches and drawing out the detail in surfaces a guest might otherwise pass by. By evening it has softened once more, settling low and golden until the whole venue seems to hold the day’s warmth.
