Today is Varalakshmi Vritham. The word "Varam" means Boon. This festival is celebrated by Hindus all over the world. It is believed that Goddess Varalakshmi brings wealth, prosperity, and happiness to households. Women decorate their homes, keep Kalasams in their pooja rooms, and do special poojas for the kalasams. The festival involves preparation of traditional dishes, and offering prayers to the goddess adorned with colourful flowers and ornaments. 🙏🙏

ಯುಗಾದಿ ಅಥವಾ ಉಗಾದಿ ಚೈತ್ರ ಮಾಸದ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನ.

ಭಾರತದ ಅನೇಕ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಿನ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಮೊದಲ ದಿನ. ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿ ಯುಗಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

“ಯುಗಾದಿ” ಪದದ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿ “ಯುಗ+ಆದಿ” – ಹೊಸ ಯುಗದ ಆರಂಭ ಎಂದು.

ಯುಗಾದಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಂಗಳಕರವಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಹೊಸ ಸಂವತ್ಸರ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಹುರುಪು, ಹೊಸ ಭರವಸೆ, ಹೊಸ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಕನಸು, ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ತರಲಿ. ಯುಗಾದಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.
