I am reputed as a specialist in restoring old, damaged, torn, faded, scratched, pest fed, burnt, emulsion lost, crushed and moisturized photographs, to their original form and past glory. This requires the combined skill of an artist, knowledge of photography and software coupled with oodles of patience and passion for the job. I felt very fortunate when my skills and expertise were recognized and I was assigned the task of restoring to the original form, some 4500 damaged photographs of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Our Nation at icon softec New Delhi. This and many such assignments eventually earned me the desired recognition and thus I am able to make big strides in my career in the last 16 years. This is undoubtedly a pain staking task as it is nothing short of recreating the original photograph.
