Kawasaki India has launched the Ninja ZX-6R 2026 for the Indian market. The sports bike manufacturer has increased the price of the Ninja ZX-6R, has made subtle changes to its design, and it remains unchanged mechanically. Kawasaki says it is the only two-wheeler manufacturer in India that offers an inline four-cylinder 600cc engine. Regarding the deliveries, Kawasaki says it will commence from the first week of September 2025.

The Volvo XC70 nameplate has been revived for 2026 as a plug-in hybrid SUV, marking its global debut in late August 2025. Previously known as a rugged crossover wagon, the new model has been transformed into a full-fledged SUV built on Volvo's Scalable Modular Architecture (SMA).

Powertrain and range: The new XC70 is a long-range plug-in hybrid. Powertrain details from Chinese government filings indicate a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor. Volvo reports a combined driving range of over 1,200 km (about 745 miles) and an electric-only range of over 200 km (124 miles) on the Chinese test cycle.

Performance:
Engines: Powertrain configurations will vary by market. In China, a 1.5-liter, 161-hp engine with an electric motor is offered. Global options include a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine (295hp) and a mild-hybrid diesel (275hp).

Drivetrain: It comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, along with specific drive modes for various terrains.

Charging: The battery supports fast-charging, capable of reaching 80% in approximately 23 minutes. The vehicle also has bi-directional charging, allowing it to power external devices.

Exterior design: The XC70 features Volvo's latest Scandinavian design language, with "Thor's Hammer" LED daytime running lights and an active grille shutter that optimizes aerodynamics. The rear has vertically integrated C-shaped tail lamps.

Eight years after rolling out the first-gen T-Roc, Volkswagen is back with the second-generation version. This time around, it’s a bit bigger in size and gets a fully revamped interior. Engine options: The new generation offers several powertrain options:

Hyundai Motor India has launched the Pro Pack for the Exter, with prices starting at Rs. 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The update brings exterior styling enhancements, new colourway, and a wider availability of safety features.

The Exter’s Pro Pack is offered on the S+ MT and higher variants. On the outside, it gets assertive wheel arch claddings and a side sill garnish. To further distinguish this trim, Hyundai has introduced a new Titan Grey Matte paint finish. Inside, a dashcam has been added, and is now offered on more trims.

The rest of the equipment list is unchanged, with the Exter continuing to get features like an electric sunroof, wireless charging pad, climate control, rear AC vents, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Mechanically, the Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that is tuned to produce 82bhp and 114Nm torque. It is available with manual and AMT gearboxes, and a CNG alternative.
