Rao’s Yuva Academy headed by Taekwondo Master Shreepada R Rao was started in the year 2012, with the vision to train Martial Arts to the Rural Kids of belagavi with the name as ‘Kakati Taekwondo Sports Academy’, as of today it has grown and established itself as a vast academy in Karnataka. rious in the various District Level, State Level and National Level Taekwondo Championships. Our athletes have also bagged medals at CBSE South Zone and National Championships. Not only kids our adult trainees have also won University Blue Colours.

Our Taekwondo Athletes Shine at Rani Channamma University Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo Championship 2026

02 of our beloved Taekwondo Athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo Competition 2026 conducted by Rani Channamma University. The event, held on March 6, 2026, was organized by KLE Society's RLS Institute and witnessed participation from top collegiate athletes across the region.

Ms. Triveni Bhavakanna Badakannavar, representing Sangolli Rayanna First Grade Constitute College, secured the *Gold Medal* in the Female Under 49 kg weight category with an impressive display of skill and determination.

Ms. Anuroopa Devaraddi of Shri Siddrameshwar Degree College, Belagavi clinched the *Silver Medal* in the Female Under 53 kg weight category, showcasing commendable performance throughout the competition.

Ms. Triveni Bhavakanna Badakannavar participated in the National-level Taekwondo Competition organized by the Association of Indian Universities, held at Fakir Mohan University, representing Rani Channamma University, Belagavi.

Athletes of our academy represented the Belagavi District & excelled with outstanding performances, exemplifying discipline, perseverance, and spirit at the Karavali Taekwondo Championships 2026, which was organised by Karnataka Taekwondo, an affiliate of Karnataka Olympic Association and INDIA Taekwondo, powered by Yaksh*t Yuva Foundation and conducted by Udupi District Taekwondo Association on 1st February 2026 at Mahatma Gandhi District Stadium, Ajjarkad Udupi.

Among 350 meritorious athletes representing various districts of Karnataka who participated in the competition, the athletes from our academy bagged a total of 27 medals, including 13 gold, 7 silver, and 7 bronze medals.

These athletes are under the patronage of Yaksh*t Yuva Foundation.
