CHIKKODI EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT LEVEL SGFI UNDER 14 & UNDER 17 YEARS TAEKWONDO COMPETITION 2025-26 was successfully conducted on 29th August 2025 at Ninayi Devi Samudaya Bhavan, Near Khari Corner, 3rd Lane Shivaji Nagar, Nipani, Belagavi. 🏅

🌟 Honouring Excellence, Inspiring the Future 🌟

Yaksh*t Yuva Foundation, under the leadership of its Chairman, Taekwondo Master Shreepada R Rao, proudly felicitated Ms. Laxmi Radaratti, the first Para Taekwondo athlete from Belagavi District, for her remarkable achievement in clinching the Bronze Medal for India in the K-44, Women’s Under 47 kg category at the 10th Asian Para Taekwondo Championships, held from 29 July to 02 August 2025 in Kuching, Malaysia.

Taekwondo Master Rao lauded her perseverance, dedication, and indomitable spirit, and presented her with a scholarship of Rs. 15,000/- from the Foundation to support her continued journey towards sporting excellence. He also extended special appreciation to her coach, Mr. Kiran Pawar of Ecseed Taekwondo Academy, for his unwavering commitment and determination in uplifting athletes to achieve international success.

Ms. Laxmi’s triumph stands as a proud moment for Belagavi, Karnataka, and India, she's a beacon of inspiration for countless aspiring athletes across the nation. 🇮🇳🥋✨

ಜುಲೈ 29 ರಿಂದ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 02, 2025 ರವರೆಗೆ ಮಲೇಷ್ಯಾದ ಕುಚಿಂಗ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ 10 ನೇ ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಪ್ಯಾರಾ ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ K-44, 47 ಕೆಜಿ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಕಂಚಿನ ಪದಕ ಗೆದ್ದ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ಯಾರಾ ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟು, ಕುಮಾರಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ರಾಡರಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಯಕ್ಷಿತ್ ಯುವ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದ ಆರ್. ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಾನ್ಯ ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ಕುಮಾರಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಧೃಡ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯತ್ತ ಲಚ್ಚಿಯ ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲು ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್‌ನಿಂದ ೧೫,೦೦೦/- ರಪಾಯಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಕುಮಾರಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯು ಎಕ್ಸೀಡ್ ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಕಿರಣ್ ಪವಾರ್ ಅವರ ಸತತ ಪ್ರಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವಳು.

ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತೀಕರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಎಕ್ಸೀಡ್ ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಕಿರಣ್ ಪವಾರ್ ಅವರ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೃಢಸಂಕಲ್ಪಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಟೇಕ್ವಾಂಡೋ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಕುಮಾರಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯ ಗೆಲುವು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಕ್ಷಣವಾಗಿದೆ - ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ. 🇮🇳🥋✨

*BELAGAVI DISTRICT TAEKWONDO TEAM BAGS 29 MEDALS AT 41ST STATE LEVEL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024.*

41st State Level Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior & 10th Cadet Taekwondo Championships were held from 01st to 05th August 2024 at Kormangala Indoor Stadium by Karnataka Taekwondo® an affiliate of India Taekwondo, Sports Authority of Karnataka & Karnataka Olympic Association.

More than 2000 meritorious Athletes from all the Districts of Karnataka participated enthusiastically in this premiere event. Belagavi District Taekwondo Association was successful in clenching 03 Gold, 08 Silver & 18 Bronze medals in the same.

In Sub-Junior Boys Under 8 years category Sanchit Vishnu Bhajantri of St.Johns School, Kakati, Shreyasgoud V. Gouri of Little Scholars Academy, Kanbargi & Ishan S. Patil of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Bronze Medals for Belagavi District. In Sub-Junior Girls Under 8 years category Saanvi G. Wagukar of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Bronze Medal, Anika K. Munavalli of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi & Shravya L. Bhatkande of KLE’s International School, Kuvempu Nagar secured Silver Medals & Stuti Abhay Tumari of Little Scholars Academy, Kanbargi bagged Bronze Medal.

In Sub-Junior Boys Under 10 years category Siddharthgouda V. Gouri of Little Scholars Academy, Kanbargi secured Gold Medal, Harsh J. Vaishnav of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Silver Medal & Vedant V. Khadabadi of KLE’s International School, Kuvempu Nagar & Avaneesh Nitin Gadade of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Bronze Medals. In Sub-Junior Girls Under 10 years category Sanvi Sagar Patil of Swami Vivekanand School Kadoli secured Silver Medal, Zaara B. Peerjade of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi & Spoorthi V. Talukar of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Bronze Medals.

In Sub-Junior Boys Under 12 years category Arush Hanje of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Gold Medal, Shriyans R. Nyamgoud of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Silver Medal, Mohammadsoheb Chandshah of Bensons School Yamanapur, Pavanraj B. Daddikar of Phoenix School Honaga, Ghagan Prem Shivapujimath of Mahaveer School Bhutaramanahatti, Arjun N. Gadade & Rugved R. Patil of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Bronze Medals for the District. In Sub-Junior Girls Under 12 years category Oviya D. Choudhari & Nishika Patra of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Silver Medals.

In Sub-Junior Boys Under 14 years category Atharva Mangale of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Bronze Medal where as in Sub-Junior Girls Under 14 years category Saanvi S. Vasoji of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Silver Medal & Rupal Revankar, Anvi Bagi of Sanjay Ghodawat International School Belagavi secured Bronze Medals respectively.

In Senior Women Under 49kg Triveni Bhavakanna Badakannavar of Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna First Grade Degree College bagged Gold Medal for Belagavi District and secured her place in State Team for Upcoming Senior Nationals whereas in Sub-Junior Boys Under 21kg Vedant Vinayak Khadabadi of KLE’s International School, Kuvempu Nagar secured Bronze Medal.

Mohammadsoheb Chandshah, Deep Shankar Patil, Mohammadshafi Chandshah & Aarush Abhay Tumari actively participated in Sub-Junior Boys Under 25kg, Sub–Junior Boys Under 35 Kg, Cadet Boys Under 156cms & Cadet Boys Under 168cms categories respectively.

The Belagavi District Taekwondo Team received training & mentorship of Indian Air Force’s International Coach Level II & International Referee Taekwondo Master Shreepada Ravi Rao and the team was assisted by Joint Secretary of Belagavi District Swapnil R. Patil & Treasurer Vaibhav R. Patil.

TAEKWONDO MASTER RAO PROMOTED TO "INTERNATIONAL COACH - LEVEL II"

Belagavi's renowned Taekwondo Expert, Trainer, Mentor & Administrator, Taekwondo Master Shreepada R Rao of Indian Air Force has attained the promotion of INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO COACH - LEVEL II by the WORLD TAEKWONDO.

In the scheduled advancement course held by World Taekwondo from
15 Jan to 21 Jan 2024 a total of 11 ranked candidates of International Taekwondo Coach Level I grade recommended by their pertinent National Federation from around the globe including Taekwondo Master Rao had participated in it.

The curriculum of the 7 days long course included WT Rules & Administration,
Competition Rules and Case Studies, Medical Care & Anti-Doping, Safeguarding, Sports Psychology, Games Management and Coaching Skills.

In the final written test Taekwondo Master Rao obtained a 95% score and attained the grade of 'INTERNATIONAL COACH - LEVEL II' with which he has gained the eligibility to officiate as the National Team Coach & Head of the team in the International Championships of Grade-4, Grade-6, Grade-10 & Grade-14 ranks.

Earlier in the year 2020 Taekwondo Master Rao had attained the qualification of International Coach Level 1 and had been the recipient of Commendation by the Government of Karnataka for his feat thereafter in June 2023 he was also invited by the World Taekwondo as one of the Master from India to participate in WT Partnership Taekwondo Program held at Seoul & Muju with complete sponsorship from Ministry of Sports, Culture & Tourism, Republic of South Korea.
