𝐒𝐨… 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭?

Yes, we're talking wedding planning. The earlier you start, the smoother it flows.

Ideally, 6 months in advance is solid. 12 months is a luxury. We’ve pulled off weddings in 3 months, 2 months, even 1 month.

So if you’re reading this thinking “I only have 5 months left,” Relax. You can still pull it off.

Just know that the shorter the runway, the tighter your planning has to be.

Create a checklist and share it with every vendor. And I mean a real copy, not a WhatsApp forward.

→When is the material arriving?

→When is the setup happening?

→When does it need to be ready?

→When does teardown begin?

Your sheet should answer all of that.

If your setup is ready 10 minutes before the event, you’re late. You aim to be done at least an hour before the guests arrive.

That’s the window where everything should look effortless, even if it wasn’t.

What brand comes to your mind when you hear “noodles”?

For most of us, it’s Maggi, a brand that’s become synonymous with the product itself.

That’s not luck.
It’s powerful brand recall built through years of consistent emotional connection.

It takes strategic, consistent marketing, something I’ve practiced and refined over my 19-year journey.

In fact, more than half of my business comes from word of mouth and recall value.

And I owe that to how I market myself and how I design experiential brand events.

When brands or corporate companies book me, they’re not just looking for logistics.

They want to make sure their audience walks away thinking:

“I felt something. I won’t forget this.”

That’s where sensory marketing comes in.

Think:

- Signature scents that anchor memories
- Textures that invite touch
- Branded bites that surprise the palate
- Immersive visuals that tell your story

Today, events aren’t about pitching. They’re about purposeful experiences.

Stories matter. Emotions matter.

When you help your audience feel your story, not just hear it, your brand gets embedded in their memory.

And that’s how you win recall.

I’ve got more to share on this but one post won’t cut it.

So I’ll keep showing up.

Until then, remember:

It’s not about how many people attended your event.

It’s about how many still talk about your brand, long after the lights go out.

“I need an entrance song, but not just any song. I want to feel like I’m stepping into the octagon. Can you help?”

When Shehzad, my school buddy and die-hard UFC fan, asked me that,

I knew this wedding was about to be legendary.

Shehzad had this vision of walking into his big day like a champion—robe, attitude, the whole UFC vibe.

He had the custom robe ready, but when it came to the music, he trusted me to bring that moment to life.

I remember sitting with his sister, going over the decor, and then his mom joined in to make sure everything was just right.

But Shehzad was focused on one thing—his entrance.

So, I called up DJ Anurag Sen, my brother from another mother and an absolute beast when it comes to remixes.

I sent him Shehzad’s vision, down to every little detail and exact timing.

By the end of the night, the track was done, and it was fire.

The best part was that the bride had no idea what was coming.

Her face when Shehzad made his UFC-style entrance was absolutely priceless—she was blown away.

Watching Shehzad live his UFC dream on his wedding day made every effort worth it.

It’s those crazy, out-of-the-box ideas that turn into memories you laugh about for years.

“We’re planning a ‘Techspace’ themed event.”

It sounds exciting, right?

But let me ask you this:
-What does Techspace mean for your employees?
-Your leadership team?
-Your partners in the audience?

If it only means metallic lights, AI-themed backdrops, and a dress code, you’re missing the opportunity.

Because in corporate events, the theme is not a slogan.
It’s strategy.

A strong theme gives your event purpose. It aligns your brand story, internal goals, and audience experience.

When done right, a theme shapes:

-The tone of leadership talks
-The structure of breakout sessions
-The way your teams and clients engage with your message long after the event ends

Most corporate events treat the theme like décor like a last-minute label.

And that’s why even well-executed events with strong logistics fail to leave a mark.
People leave with coffee cups and notebooks not clarity.

But when the theme is thoughtfully integrated, something shifts.

The event actually moves the needle on culture, on storytelling, on business.

Don’t let the theme be an afterthought.
Let it be your compass.

I’ve failed more times than I can count. And yet, I’m still here, still building.

Before I started Zzeeh Productions, I went through business ideas that didn’t work out.

Some failed fast.
Some took a piece of me with them.
I could’ve chosen the safe path, maybe joined my father’s business, maybe taken a job that paid me just enough to stop questioning everything.

But something in me wanted to build my path.
Even when it felt like I was starting from scratch again… and again.

A while back, I joined a networking workshop where we had to speak about our industry as if we were addressing the UN. (You might’ve seen the video I posted earlier this week.)

And I spoke from the heart about something we rarely say out loud.

How the event industry, despite its creativity, pressure, and sleepless nights, often gets overlooked.

We create magic. We manage chaos.
But the recognition or the appreciation is not always there.

And yet, we show up.
I showed up that day too. Nervous, yes. But ready.

Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s this:

When you keep showing up for yourself, life starts showing up for you too.

Even if I lose everything tomorrow, I know I’ll rebuild.
Because I’ve done it before. Because I’ve never stopped learning. Because this version of me was earned.

And I’m proud of my younger self for never giving up.

The beauty of building something of your own is indescribable.

So, keep showing up!

You bring your A-game.

The night felt straight out of a movie.

And not just because of the celebrity guest list (yes, Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Kriti Sanon, Irfan Pathan, and more walked in).

But because of what happened behind the scenes too.

Just a few hours before the event, things went sideways.

The planner’s shipment, which included decor elements we were meant to use too, never made it.

Basically, a huge chunk of the setup we were relying on didn’t arrive.

With just under 3 hours, we rerouted, pulled in backups, and somehow made it all work.

We handled the entire decor and production at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa and made sure the night looked effortless, even though it was anything but.

Each corner told a story, and everything we promised was delivered.

Grateful to the family for the trust. Humbled by the presence of icons.

Forever proud of the team that made it all come alive.

And yeah, the night did feel like a movie in the end.

The best marketing we ever did… didn’t feel like marketing at all.

We were working insane hours, setting up venues at 3AM, turning dull spaces into magical ones.

We’d pour our heart into every detail.

But when the lights went down and the event was over, we had nothing to show for it.

No videos, photos or any visual proof.

We were putting in all this effort behind the scenes, and the only people who saw it… were us.

So I hired a photographer for us.

We started filming:

- Our team rolling out carpets at dawn
- The floral ceiling rising inch by inch
- The “before” chaos… and the “after” magic

We posted one reel. It hit 1M views.

Then another. And suddenly DMs started pouring in:

“We saw your setup video, it gave us goosebumps.”
“We never knew so much went into creating that look.”

That was the turning point.
People trusted us even before our call.

If you're in this industry, here’s what I’ll say without sugarcoating it:
Don’t stay invisible. Document everything.

That’s marketing you didn’t even have to write.

Destination Wedding vs. Local Wedding. What’s Actually More Expensive?

A couple once asked me,
"Zubair, will a destination wedding help us save or blow our budget?"

I shared both sides clearly.
And I told them:
“It depends. But done right, it can save you more than you think.”

🔴 So what did they do?

They priced out a traditional wedding in their hometown. 400 guests. ₹40L+ budget.
Then explored a destination option. 80 guests. ₹18L package.

They called back.

“We had no idea a destination wedding could save us that much and still feel this meaningful.”

🟡 Here's why destination weddings can cost less:

→ Smaller guest list → lower spend on food, seating, gifts
→ Bundled packages = fewer vendors, fewer surprises
→ Natural scenery means minimal décor
→ Wedding + honeymoon = no extra travel plans
→ Off-season + group rates = value

🟠 But they’re not always cheaper:

→ If you fly in every vendor
→ If you’re footing the guest bills
→ If you choose peak-season, premium locations
→ If you turn it into a 4-day blowout

🟢 So, what’s actually more expensive?

Neither. Or either.
It comes down to what you value.

✨ Want a big, festive, traditional wedding? Stay local.
✨ Want an intentional, immersive experience? Go destination.
✨ Want clarity? Talk to a planner who can help you map it out.

As a planner, I’m not here to pitch you a type.
I’m here to help you build your kind of celebration.
One that fits your story, your people, your budget.

If you’re in two minds, I’m happy to walk you through both options side by side.

After all…
Planning isn’t just about logistics.
It’s about vision, alignment, and honest advice, even if you don’t book me.

That’s the kind of wedding I want for you.

“We want something fresh — just like their wedding — but with our own twist.”
Yep, we hear that a lot at Zzeeh.

Recently, a couple came to us after attending their friend’s wedding — which we had styled.
They loved the vibe, the decor, the whole experience...
But of course, they didn’t want a copy.

Same budget. Similar venue.
Just one ask: “Make it feel different — make it ours.”

So we got to work:
– Tweaked the color palette 🌸
– Reimagined the entrance 💫
– Added new elements, reused the theme in smarter ways
– And brought the same trusted team to deliver flawlessly

End result?
It felt completely fresh — yet comfortably familiar.

That’s the magic of experience.
Don’t start from scratch.
Start with someone who’s done it before — and done it beautifully. 💍✨

“Why should we hire a planner? We already know the nitty-gritty of organizing events.”

A corporate exec once asked me that.
And here’s why that mindset holds brands back.

Corporate teams need to stop doing this one thing:
Thinking they can “manage the event internally.”

Sure, you can…
Just like you can design your own logo in PowerPoint.

But should you?

Because events aren’t just about mics, lights, or vendor quotes.
They’re about moments, strategy, and brand reputation.

And when corporate events go wrong, everyone remembers.

So if you’ve ever wondered why bringing in a professional planner makes a difference, let me break it down:

We bring:
- 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 – We map your event to actual business goals
- 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 – We unlock better vendors, faster timelines, and smarter budgets
- 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 – Yes, event funnels exist and they work
- 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 – Because something always goes off-script

Your internal team already wears too many hats.
Let someone who lives and breathes events turn your idea into something unforgettable for the right reasons.

Because when done right, events don’t just make noise.
They drive business.
