As in, the Story. We are all but stories. We are the Aayana in the Ram-ayana. Every story must have its teller. We are not that teller, we are the narrative itself. The story that is carried in the wind, the story that courses through the mountain, the Song of the Soil. Every human being is part of the grand narrative. There comes a time when you can choose whether you want to be a part of the grand narrative, or you change the course of the universe by becoming the narrative itself. One, and All, at the same time, Tat Tvam Asi. That Thou Art. Aham Brahmasmi. One word to say it all, Nritya. Dance. Movement is History. Movement is Allohistory. Movement is Historicity. It's simple, really. For whatever reason, cosmic or mundane, we love to move. To dance. To listen to, and narrate our own stories. Dance helps us discover ourselves and the world around us in a way that nothing else can. It is our story, our own Truth. That said, why on earth would we not spend every single waking moment in the pursuit and indulgence of dance?
