Long before love found its way here, this place was already shaping destinies.
This photograph takes us back to a time before independence, when the campus was a women only medical college. A circle of newly graduated nurses and doctors, guided by foreign mentors, standing together in quiet strength and purpose. These grounds witnessed courage, service, and the beginning of countless journeys in healing. History was being written softly, one oath, one dream at a time.
Years later, the same campus became part of another story.
Anjana grew up within these walls, where faith, learning, and compassion shaped her childhood. Life took her far from home, beyond borders, where she met Aaron from New York. Two lives from different countries, different cultures, finding each other far away from where this story began.
Yet love has its own sense of symmetry.
For their wedding, Anjana and Aaron chose to return here, to the CMC Vellore campus chapel. A cross country love story rooted back into the same soil that once nurtured generations of women healers. From graduation circles to wedding vows, from history to the present, this campus continues to hold stories of purpose, faith, and unity.
