The Mizoram State Sports Council (MSSC) Golden Jubilee Celebration Opening Ceremony was held on April 22nd, 2025 @2:00PM at Vaivakawn Cultural Centre and Auditorium.

Dr. H. Thansanga, Ex-Minister and First President of MSSC, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, marking a significant milestone in Mizoram's sports history.

The ceremony was overseen by the Hon'ble Minister, SYS & President, MSSC, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of sports development.

*Torch Relay* : The celebration began with a torch relay, participated by 34 MSSC Recognized State Level Sports Associations, prominent sportspersons, government officials, and the President, MSSC.

*Opening Ceremony* : The ceremony at Vaivakawn Cultural Centre and Auditorium marked the beginning of a year-long celebration, honoring MSSC's 50 years of sports development in Mizoram.

*MSSC's Legacy* : The council has been instrumental in promoting sports excellence, providing infrastructure, and nurturing talented athletes in Mizoram.
