When one of your amazing colleagues/friend asks you to be their event planner for their beautiful daughter it is just the biggest זכות. Kate-Orlikow Kineret-Rifkind thank you so much for entrusting me in this very meaninful milestone - Adina and Asher's wedding. It was so much fun working with both your families. Lots of love, laughter, tears, and of course there were beers like a true Canadian! It's always emotional when I work weddings of close friends, and of course I just had to include the Coop in this post! To many more, Mazal Tov, love you guys 🫶

Daliah and Gideon's wedding is one I will never forget—we truly moved mountains to make it happen. The wedding was cancelled and postponed twice due to the rocket attacks from Iran. We had no idea when it would be possible to hold the wedding, when family members would be able to fly in, or how everything would come together. Everything was up in the air.

The next available dates at the wedding hall fell either during the Sefira period (outside the dates permitted by the Rabbanut) or eight months later. We decided to write a letter to the Rabbanut, crossed our fingers, and hoped they would grant special permission to hold the wedding during Sefira—a time of mourning when many refrain from celebrating weddings.

To our shock and delight, permission was granted. We were informed that this was a one-time exception and not something they typically approve. We were absolutely ecstatic and immediately began replanning the wedding for its new date.

Through all of this, Daliah and Gideon, you remained calm, patient, and composed. I, on the other hand, can't honestly say I was quite as cool as a cucumber! In the end, everything came together beautifully.

Part 2: Baruch Dachs’ Hanachat Tefillin, held on the rooftop of Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh overlooking the Kotel. With breathtaking views and an atmosphere unlike any other, it was the perfect setting for such a meaningful milestone.

An elaborate breakfast, artisanal pastries, custom logoed cookies, and elegant décor in soft pastel tones created a warm and sophisticated ambiance for this unforgettable celebration. While the setting was spectacular, the logistics were no small feat—but every detail came together seamlessly. Bini, thank you for choosing to celebrate in Israel. It has been an absolute pleasure planning these special events with you and your family.

A truly special Torah dedication in honor of cherished loved ones, celebrated alongside a Bar Mitzvah in an extraordinary setting overlooking the Kotel which presented a logistical challenge. The goal was ambitious: outstanding food, fun snacks for the children, sophisticated regal décor, and a 'Yishair Ribo' and 'Akiva!' concert for the entire Netiv Aryeh Yeshiva—all seamlessly woven together in one charming, intimate venue. Mazal Tov Dachs family, you're right Bini the walls of the Yeshiva rooftop do expand 😆.

Amiel's Shabbat Bar Mitzvah entailed two different looks and colour palettes. It took time for us to perfect the vision for both days, but I can safely say we nailed it. Browns and golds for Friday night and blue and white (כחול ולבן) for Shabbat day. Two looks, one perfect plan. Amiel's Bar Mitzvah weekend was a blast. Morning davening at the Kotel, Party in Pitmaster which is always a treat and Shabbat in Beit Shmuel overlooking the Kotel, a view that can’t be beat. This little gingy knows how to party which is great since we planned quite the party! Even though Julia and Freddie’s wedding was mid-winter and there were worries about rain and cold, at the end it was a perfect day all about love, warmth and so much fun and laughter.
