Bar Mitzvah Ceremony at Masada National Park
We are glad to offer you a high quality experience at Masada National Park. The location is unique, where Jewish heroic events took place over 2000 years ago.
The ceremony takes place at Masada Mountain, stunning view of the Dead Sea and the Judea desert.
In 2001, Masada was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO, Masada is not only The symbol of Jewish cultural identity, its became a symbol of the constant human struggle between oppression and freedom.
The Bar Mitzvah:
- Arrival at Masada National Park - the guests are greeted by 2 drummers, dressed in the spirit of ancient Jewish times, who will es**rt the group to the reception area where they will enjoy light refreshments: Fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of hot pastries, hot and cold drinks.
- Gathering next to Masada Model, the group then watch a short movie - The story of Masada, after which they will take the cable car to the mountain.
The location of the ceremony will be organized and conducted by our Rabbi, we supply the Torah, chairs for the guests, in advance.
- At the end of the ceremony your guests take the cable car back down to Masada main building for the Bar Mitzvha lunch.
The area is air-conditioned with panoramic view of Masada Mountain and the Dead Sea.
We offer 4 lunch menu to choose from.
- During or after the Meal we also offer the family to present a short film or slides, we provide the projector, screen and a PC for this screening.
Rate per person based on minimum 40 guests starts at 195 nis pp
Rate per person includes:
- Reception upon arrival to Masada.
- Entrance tickets to Masada.
- Round trip tickets by cable car.
- Torah & Chairs for the ceremony.
- Breakfast / brunch or Lunch
- Coordinating and assistance before and during the event.

Musicians – Two musicians playing drums and trumpets – NIS 1650.00
Photographer – NIS 1500.00
Videographer – NIS 1800.00
Some families add a Tour Guide for a tour of the mountain after the ceremony – English speaking guide – NIS 950.00
Rate does not include transportation or Tips.
