The Pre-Pesach No Need to Panic Plan–Make It Easy and Stress Free
Does Pesach sneak up on you every year? Well, the countdown has begun - but don’t panic, no one will go hungry! If you keep Pesach, below are a few handy tips to help you get started on the clean-up and prep without the stress.
If you haven’t noticed the signs, you must be walking around with your eyes closed! The moment Purim ends, the stores start displaying matzo meal, potato flour, and those once-a-year Pesach cookies. Shelves fill up with kneidlach mixes and jars of grey gefilte fish (you know, the ones that no one touches the rest of the year). That’s your cue - it’s time to start clearing out the chametz and making room for all the KFP essentials!
If you’ve been avoiding the inevitable, here’s your friendly reminder- it’s time to get organized.

Three Tips to Make Pesach Prep Easier
1️. Use Up the Chametz – From now until Pesach, before buying more chametz, shop from your own fridge, freezer, and pantry! Get creative with what you already have. This not only saves money but also makes cleaning easier when it's time to switch over.
2. Plan Your Pre-Seder Lunch Meal – The last thing you need on Erev Pesach is to worry about what’s for lunch. Make something in advance and stash it in the freezer! I always make tuna patties -easy, not messy to eat, and perfect for a picnic if you want to send the kids outside. Another great option is jacket potatoes with cheese and tuna—you’ll likely have the oven on anyway, so you can just pop a few in, its easy.
3. Let Me Help You! – Take the pressure off by ordering a few dishes from https://www.facebook.com/RochelleShalet1/
Tastes of the World Catering (or another trusted source if you must 😉). Have a mid-week Chol Ha'moed meal ready in the freezer or grab a couple of dishes for Seder night. Even the Seder plate items (which always take longer than expected) can be provided for you!
