Pay attention! Tonight at 2 AM Israel switches to 'winter mode' as daylight saving time comes to its annual end. One hour back.
The 'mode' will last till 26th March 2021

Swimming season in Haifa was extended till 16 November😍 Until 24 October safeguards will work on 5 beaches from 8 till 18. Starting from 25 October they will work less hours – from 8 till 16:30🌅
Kosher means that on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the beach is for men and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays – for women..
Dado’s beach has a swimming pool for small children👶

My name is Maxim Leskov. I work as an Israeli tour guide. I am a geographer, a traveler and an "advanced" Haifa citizen with 7 years of experience.
What makes me love Haifa? Of course, its mix of mountains, sea, history and sun. Apart from that, Haifa is developing noticeably each year and becoming more and more vivid and comfortable, what brings me a joy of choosing to live here.

Since 1983 Haifa International Film Festival | פסטיבל הסרטים הבינלאומי חיפה is held during the week of Sukkot and this year is no exception.
More than 75 international masterpieces will be available for watching online starting from tomorrow! The films will be shown in the original language with Hebrew subtitles.
Tickets: one film costs 25 shekels, 5 films cost 100 shekels, 10 films cost 180 shekels and the pass throughout the whole week will cost 450 shekels.
The Festival will last from 3rd till 10th of October.

Being frequently asked when is the best time to visit Haifa, which clothes to pack, we made this calendar of monthly climate averages, so that you and your guests know when it’s the nicest here. The temperatures are in Celsius: daytime, nighttime and warmth of the sea.
The coldest month is January, the hottest is August. Generally speaking, there are two seasons from four in Israel: autumn and summer. Autumn starts with Sukkot, summer after Pesach. It rains here from October till April, then from May till September no rain at all, not a drop. During the cold months blows cold wild from the sea. In August the sea is as warm as 28 degrees.. Even in December there are 10 daylight hours, while in July 14!..

Today in the evening starts Yom Kippur – the day of serenity and peace, when the whole Israel annually stops for the Judgment Day. Streets are almost empty and the silence is in the air..
