Mine is watching the mitzvah tanz come to an end. After all the sacred dances with family and honored guests, this final embrace between chatan and kallah feels like pure joy and relief.

SEVENTH EDITION OF AN INCREDIBLE CHESED EXPERIENCE: A Bat Mitzvah celebration for 450 orphan girls, giving them a chance to feel LUCKY for one day in their lives.
Seven years ago, American grandparents (who wish to remain anonymous) organized a special charitable event for the Bat Mitzvah of their granddaughter in which they included orphan girls. The experience was so exceptional and emotional that they’ve continued it every year since.
This year’s “Enchanted Garden” themed celebration in Jerusalem honored 81 orphan Bat Mitzvah girls, taking them out of routine and pampering them completely (dress and shoes of their choice included).
The celebration included:

Arrival activities: Flower headbands, jewelry making, hairstyling, magnets, games, rewards, candy shop, popcorn, cotton candy & shakes.
Special dinner: Mini-sized teen favorites - burgers, hot dogs, falafel, schnitzels
Dance party with Adar (flew in from the US to donate her time) plus inspiring speeches from distinguished Rabbis
Grand finale: Each Bat Mitzvah girl received 5 stunning Machzorim, followed by an amazing dessert buffet with Belgian waffles, mousses & ice cream.
