Back from holidays to a glorious glut of seasonal summer flowers.

Alan will have my bouquets and his own Salad Mix, garlic, spring onions and locally grown strawberries in Rosslare Strand tomorrow morning from 8am.

If you miss out tomorrow, I will be in the Crown Quarter Artisan market on Sunday from 10am.

There are also some bunches available to buy in Karoo Farm Shop Killinick

Dahlias.

Growing these beautiful flowers are not for the faint hearted.
They are labour intensive from the start but so worth it once theses beauties start to bloom in July.

A lot of hours were spent this weekend, digging, wheelbarrowing and attempting straight lines in straight beds.

This is just the start. Dahlias demand attention to get long usable stems and continuous flowering until October.
But I'm game. It's a love affair after all.
