Dublin pianist .sun07 joins us for the 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music.

A student of Hugh Tinney and Peter Tuite at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Ai Lin has already received numerous national and international awards, including first prize at the 2024 Fr Frank Maher Classical Music Award and the Ursula Uí Chuinneagáin Bursary for Young Pianists.

She has performed at venues including the National Concert Hall, Dublin City Hall and London’s Royal Festival Hall, and has also appeared on RTÉ lyric fm.

Alongside her music studies at RIAM, Ai Lin is also studying Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Violinist Stephen Waarts joins us for the 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music.

Celebrated for his poetic musical voice, Stephen has performed with leading ensembles including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Konzerthausorchester Berlin and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

A passionate recitalist and chamber musician, his collaborators include Sir András Schiff, Tabea Zimmermann, Timothy Ridout and Daniel Müller-Schott. He has also appeared at major festivals including Verbier, Aspen, Marlboro and Gstaad.

French violist Hélène Clément Hélène Clément joins us for the 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music.

A devoted chamber musician, Hélène has performed in some of the world’s leading concert halls, including Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw, Berlin Konzerthaus and the Elbphilharmonie. Her collaborators have included Mitsuko Uchida, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Benjamin Grosvenor and Tabea Zimmermann.

For twelve years, she was a member of the Doric String Quartet, touring internationally and contributing to an extensive and acclaimed discography.

Hélène is Professor of Viola and Chamber Music at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and from September 2026 will take up the role of Professor of Viola at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva.

Latvian pianist Diana Ketler joins us for the 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music.

A distinguished soloist, chamber musician and conductor, Diana has performed at some of the world’s leading concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw, Vienna’s Musikverein and Konzerthaus, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.

She is Artistic Director of both the SoNoRo Festival in Romania and Chiemgauer Musikfrühling in Bavaria, and has held teaching positions at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Haute École de Musique in Geneva.

Diana is also an elected Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music.

Spanish clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester joins us for the 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music.

Hailed by The New York Times for his “technical wizardry and tireless enthusiasm”, José is regarded as one of the leading clarinetists of his generation. A recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, he has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the BBC Concert Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke’s and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

He performs regularly with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and has appeared at major festivals including Verbier, Music@Menlo and the Cartagena International Music Festival.

Irish violinist Patrick Rafter joins us for the 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music.

Recognised as one of Ireland’s leading classical musicians, Patrick has performed as a soloist, director, conductor and recitalist across Europe, the Middle East, South America and Asia. His many honours include National Concert Hall Young Musician of the Year, the RDS Music Bursary and the Royal Academy of Music’s Sir Curtis Price Award.

A protégé of Maxim Vengerov, Patrick has performed with orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland, RTÉ Concert Orchestra and Prague Philharmonia.

He performs on a Jean Baptiste Vuillaume violin made in Paris in 1842.

Acclaimed percussionist Ji Hye Jung ( Ji Hye Jung 정지혜 🇰🇷🇺🇸 ) joins us for the 2026 Westport Festival of Chamber Music.

Praised as “spectacular” by the Los Angeles Times, Ji Hye began performing in her native South Korea at the age of nine and went on to win first prizes at both the Linz International Marimba Competition and Yale Gordon Concerto Competition.

A passionate champion of new music, she has commissioned and premiered works by leading composers including Kevin Puts, Paul Lansky and Lukas Ligeti, and has performed at Carnegie Hall and festivals across Europe, Asia and the United States.

She is currently Associate Professor of Percussion at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music.
