Wandering through the garden, climbers in full bloom like this gorgeous Wisteria sinensis (Chinese Wisteria).

If there was only one climber you could choose, this is the one, and although it blooms for a relatively short time, boy is it so worth it !!!

Although this month sees the start of wedding season here at Bizzy Lizzies Flowers, yesterday morning was spent doing something a little different.
It was so lovely to give a flower arranging workshop to some final year Horticultural students from SETU University Waterford.
An enthusiastic creative group, a great venue, and fantastic weather.
The flowers and foliage were in abundance, such as Amelanchier, Cherry Blossom, Narcissus, Hellebores, Tulips all grown here at Bizzy Lizzies Flowers.
Perfectly seasonal.

It’s always lovely to receive photos of previous weddings no matter how late. So this week, the timing couldn’t be better, January is, let’s be honest such a grey month, (not my favourite) !!!
This June wedding ‘24 brings back lovely memories. Maggie was so definite on her choice of flowers, roses, daisy types, forget me nots, ferns, to name but a few, seasonality was key.

Lots of Flowery Urns on the to do list this coming Wedding Season.

Thought I’d have a play with these gorgeous Spring blooms, all growing at Bizzy Lizzies Flowers.

Tulips Ranunculus, Daffs and a beautiful Cream Rhododendron that returns every year, ( no idea of its name ?) but all works to give that joyous abundant Spring look.

Don’t forget,, Flowery Urns can be a great addition to any Wedding, / Event.
