We are delighted to host the final screening of County Galway a History on Super8. 4 years ago filmmaker Paul Murphy started collecting old film reels shot by local people. It started with one mans shoebox of reels and now it's six. Altogether it is one hour of amazing footage that gives up an unmatched look at our recent history. Major events like the visits of John F Kennedy and Pope John Paul II mix with town markets, football games, political, religious and social gatherings. Tickets here

He will stop off to The Mall on Thursday July 10th at 8pm, with all proceeds from the evening going to Tuam Cancer Care. Not to be missed. Tickets from Quinn's Newsagents.

Dave McGrath, author and adventurer, is proud to come to The Mall Theatre, and announce the release of his new book, 500,000 Steps Across Ireland: From Dublin to Di**le on Foot, a personal and immersive chronicle of his 2023 solo walk across Ireland. As the book hits shelves this summer, McGrath is in the middle of his latest walking journey—this time from Shannon to Derry, beginning in July. Dave will bring his stories, music and comedy to the Mall Theatre, Tuam, on Thursday July 10th, as he passes through Tuam on his journey

With a renewed sense of purpose and adventure, McGrath returns to Ireland this July to embark on his new Shannon to Derry route. Like his previous journey, this walk will be a physical, cultural, and spiritual exploration, and will be documented in real time through his blog and social media channels.

But Dave also wants to give something back, so this journey will also support any local charity that will have Dave perform as a storyteller, comedian and musician. On his Tuam stop, Dave will do a show in The Mall Theatre on Thursday July 10th at 8 p.m. with all proceeds going to support .
