We are open on weekends only during September from 10am - 6pm. Copper Coast Mini Farm is a family run farm, located in Fenor, Co Waterford. Just 10 minutes drive outside of Tramore. Set on 7 acres it is home to over 100 animals including an Alpaca, Llamas, Rhea, Sika Deer, Horses, Miniature Ponies and Donkeys, Pygmy, Nubian and Toggenberg Goats, Sheep, a ‘Micro’ Pig and Highland Cattle. Also a var

iety of Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys and a Swan. Our facilities include a large Sand Barn with buckets & spades, and many large benches to sit at and have a coffee while the kids play. And a Play Barn with a Soft Play Area for toddlers, toys, couches and a large seated area for Birthday Parties. Our large Playground caters for all ages while our Go-Kart Track caters for the older kids. Our Cafe, the newly refurbished Copper Kettle Tearooms, provides homemade soups and bakes. Our scones are baked daily and go down well with a cup of freshly brewed tea or a Mean Bean Cappuccino. We also provide a variety of hot food such as pizzas, toasted sandwiches, wraps and our famous homemade taco chips. Our treats include, jellies and a selection of chocolate bars and crisps. At the back of the Tearooms is a large green area with plenty of outdoor seating. The pathway is lined with ride-on tractors, cars and push bikes. There is plenty of space to have a picnic. Copper Coast Mini Farm is a fun, educational, safe and friendly place for both adults and children alike.

We’ve loved reading the memories, messages and stories shared over the past few days, and we want to take a moment to clarify what’s happening and to celebrate what Copper Coast Mini Farm has been.

After 22 wonderful years, this chapter of Copper Coast Mini Farm is coming to a close as part of a planned family transition. The property is staying within the family and will now begin its next life as a family home.

This is a happy and natural step for a long-running family venture, and while it’s always emotional to say goodbye to a place filled with memories, it’s also something we look back on with pride and gratitude.

We’d also like to reassure everyone about the animals. Those who have spent their lives on the farm will continue on as much-loved family pets, and all other animals have been placed in carefully vetted, permanent homes, with their wellbeing always at the heart of the decision.

Copper Coast Mini Farm has always been about family and community. Over the years it hosted school tours, birthday parties, barn dances, fundraisers and community events, welcoming thousands of families near and far through its gates. These moments and memories are something we’ll always treasure.

We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who supported the farm over the years from visitors, families, educators, volunteers, animal lovers and staff.

Thank you for being part of the journey and for all the kindness shown as this chapter closes and a new one begins 🤍

It is with great sadness that I have to announce the permanent closure of Copper Coast Mini Farm.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who played their part in making the mini farm a great place to visit. No doubt there were many wonderful memories made here over the past 22 years. From the owners, to the staff, volunteers and the animals, with all my heart I thank you. And to all of you who have taken the time to visit Copper Coast Mini Farm, a huge thank you. It was a pleasure to meet you all over the years.

I would also like to take this opportunity to also mention that the Therapeutic Riding/Animal Therapy facility which was planned to open in Copper Coast Mini Farm during the winter/spring months will no longer be available here. I am still looking for an alternative premises and will keep you posted.

It’s been a privilege to work with such great staff, visitors and animals over the years. I will miss you all very much.

To a happier and brighter 2026 with new beginnings, Happy New Year 🎉

Good morning ☀️☀️☀️

This is our last day open. A huge thank you to everyone who is part of the mini farm family. The work involved in keeping the farm, animals and cafe going every year is immense. And the Irish weather can make it more challenging!

Each person in our mini farm family has helped to keep the farm a happy and fun place to play and interact with the animals. A place where parents and caregivers can relax and enjoy some good food. Where children can run freely. And where the animals are cared for so well.

As Copper Coast Mini Farm gets ready to close after a busy season I would like to say to our mini farm family, you have made us very very proud. It’s been a privilege to work with you all. Thank you 💗

Good morning. This is our last weekend open at Copper Coast Mini Farm. Our summer season has come to an end.

Clever Emma has spent her time over the summer figuring out how to open the feed bin. Even when we secured it with tape, she still managed to find a way!! It’s definitely time to close!

We’re open from 10am until 6pm this weekend if you would like to see the animals before the mini farm closes. Last admission and food order is 5pm 🐰

We have reached the last day of our summer season. What a summer it has been! It went by so quickly!! We’d like to thank everyone who visited Copper Coast Mini Farm over the past 5 months. From Easter visitors and all the schools who chose to have their tours at the farm, to the wonderful families, carers and service users, couples, wedding parties!!, birthday parties, christening, communion and confirmation parties, it was such a pleasure to meet you and spend time with you. Thank you so much!

We especially would like to thank our brilliant staff, our wonderful animals and our families and friends for putting up with us when we often hadn’t the time for a cup of tea!!

We are now closed midweek during the month of September. But we will be open on weekends until September 28th if anyone wants to get a last visit in before we close for the winter.
