Well done to Taylor, Ashling and Sarah. A very successful morning delivering their homemade scones all over Tramore S'morning as part of their Transition Year Mini Business. They were absolutely delighted with all the support they got.

Hey everyone, certainly a very long time since posting here. A wet evening and time on my hands , I was having a look around on Facebook as you do.
So many messages and comments are still coming in, there's a great sadness in one sense seeing them and missing what I loved doing, but on the other hand I'm also loving my new position which has its challenges aswell. As much as I really loved all the fun had at all the parties and the Baking camps, I'm really enjoying my Monday to Fridays so unfortunately I don't see Glebe House Bakery opening again.
Life can certainly throw many curve balls and it's up to you what you do with it.
My working day was working with kids almost every day to working with men all day.
I've changed from my chef whites to a hard hat and hi viz.
I now manage a building site building houses. Mad you would say. But life is what you make it and if your willing to work at something, life can be very interesting.

I'm afraid im taking time away from Glebe House Bakery. Covid has played havoc on my business and has so for the last 2 years. I have tried, done and
re invented so many times. Halloween, Christmas Drive Thru's, takeaway boxes, taught kids in a makeshift out door kitchen and so many more crazy ideas, i have done it all. Been shut for months, built stone walls, reopened, started all over again and now here we go again, children's activities are coming to a halt again. Unfortunately my bills still have to be paid. I love what i do here and i thank all the kids their parents and everyone else i have been lucky enough to meet for making Glebe House what it is today.
I'm lucky enough that i have been offered a new job, the complete opposite of what im doing, but i love a challenge. Looking forward to the monday to Friday week with weekends off to spend most importantly with my kids for the first time in 15 years.
This is definitely not goodbye, but see you around. Glebe House is just taking an extended holiday
