Next up on meet the team - Dylan discovered his passion for music and events at a very young age. Dylan then progressed to performing at larger venues, transitioning from guest DJ to hosting events, covering all aspects of the industry. Several key factors contributed to the establishment of the company. Having started as a part-time DJ from an early age, Dylan gained extensive experience performing at a variety of venues across Ireland. Along the way, he built a strong network of industry contacts and colleagues, which reinforced his passion for the art of DJing.

This foundation allowed Dylan to assemble a skilled team to launch the company. Government has announced the Grassroots Music Venue Support Scheme (GMVSS), a €500,000 fund to support grassroots music venues across the country.

In a welcome development Minister Patrick O’Donovan has announced a new fund to help support and fund live music and dance venues. Funding of up to €15,0000 is available to help venues fund and priduce events that showcase the talens of emerging grassroots artists. These artists must perform live or electronic music that they have written or creatd themselves. Given the insanely talented pool of artists and performers we know exist here, this is really exciting news!

The release about the new fund notes:

Under the scheme, venues are required to ensure that all artists and freelance crew are paid. Venues may also apply for funding towards production and crew costs, PR, advertising, ticketing, the hire of equipment, the hiring of security staff and event insurance costs.

So where do we come in? “ Venues may also apply for funding towards production and crew costs” – If you are succesful with an application and you are running an event we can help with production and crew. With an extensive range of professional sound and lighting equipment, as well as fully trained and experienced technicians we stand ready to support you and your venue with your plans!
