🍳 WE'RE HIRING — Part Time Chef
Ballintubbert Gardens & House, Ireland's first certified organic ornamental garden, is looking for a Part Time Chef to join our dynamic events team.
This role starts with breakfasts and casual dining for on-site events plus wedding Day 2 service — with real potential for more hours and responsibility as things grow. Expect variety: breakfast service, BBQs, and woodfired pizza, all set across our 14 acres of organic gardens.
👩‍🍳 You'll be responsible for:
Prepping and cooking for events, managing stock and supplies, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and making sure every dish is presented to a high standard — all while working closely with our events team on menus, numbers, and dietary needs.
✅ What we're looking for:
Chef experience, a relevant food hygiene cert (HACCP), strong food safety knowledge, and someone organised, independent, and calm under pressure. Own transport is essential, and flexibility for evenings, weekends and bank holidays is a must given our events calendar.
💶 What we offer:
A competitive hourly rate (DOE), a genuinely beautiful and unique place to work, and a varied role that can grow with you.
