There are some flowers that stop you in your tracks, and peonies are definitely one of them.

The good news? Irish peony season has arrived.

For just a few short weeks each year, these beautiful blooms take centre stage. Grown right here in Ireland, they’re known for their incredible layers of petals, delicate fragrance and the way they transform from a tightly closed bud into a show-stopping flower.

We love working with Irish-grown flowers whenever we can, not just foliage from and peonies are one of the highlights of the season. Whether they’re sitting proudly on a kitchen island, brightening a dining table or gifted to someone special, they have a way of making everyday moments feel a little more beautiful.

But be quick… peony season is fleeting, and that’s part of what makes them so special.

Today we had the absolute pleasure of presenting the President of Ireland with a bouquet on behalf of the Institute of Flowers.

Designed using beautiful Irish-grown eucalyptus from Tanner’s Foliage, the bouquet represented not just flowers, but Irish floristry, craftsmanship, community, and the incredible growers and florists behind our industry.
