Wonderful initiative, wishing St Patrick’s Comprehensive every success with this amazing project
Covid stole our library....
Calling on our community to help us bring The Comp’s library back to life!
Like many schools, COVID-19 forced us to adapt quickly—and one of our most difficult decisions was repurposing our beloved library into temporary classrooms. For decades, the library stood at the heart of our school, a hub of learning, imagination and connection for generations of students.
Now, we’re ready to restore it to its rightful place at the centre of school life.
We’re reaching out to our wider Comp community—local businesses, past pupils, and parents—who might be in a position to support us in this exciting project. We’re hoping to source the following items to help make our vision a reality over the summer months:
~ Shelving & storage
~ Desks & chairs (including office chairs)
~ Display units & reception furniture
~ IT equipment and accessories
If you, or your company in the Shannon/Limerick region, can support in any way—through donations, partnerships or advice—we’d love to hear from you. Together, we can rebuild a space that will inspire and support students for years to come.
