Well I could not let pass this wonderful day. Our new Home celebrated its birthday today. Yes 130 years ago today the sisters of mercy travelled by horse and trap from Skibbereen to begin their new life here in Rosscarberry. I spent the day in the garden with my family helping it return to its former glory. Sister Angela and Redempta are a huge support and a world of knowledge to us and we are delighted to be Part of this wonderful buildings history.

Flowers can say so much! The shape of a flowers can reflect the style of a wedding. But we have very few with scent. I love old Romantic Roses. I always add some old scented roses if I’m creating a romantic dreamy wedding. Speak with your florist they will guide you to flowers with scent. Scent is such a strong and powerful sense. Think about how you would like people to remember your wedding. You can use many flowers like stock or sweet pea but now you can rent machines and create a scent for your own wedding. We have been doing this for years as we know you experience events through your senses xx Franc!
