❤️ PLEASE READ - A CHAPTER IS COMING TO AN END ❤️

After almost 18 years, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close the doors of Magda Christie Photography.

As of January 1st, 2027, the studio will officially close.
All existing bookings will go ahead as planned, and I will honour all gift vouchers until December 31st, 2026.

This is not a decision I have come to lightly.

For almost two decades, you have trusted me with some of the most meaningful moments of your lives.
I’ve photographed your maternity journeys, newborn babies, weddings, growing families, celebrations and milestones. You’ve invited me into your homes, your businesses and your lives — and sometimes shared much more with me than what happened in front of the camera.

You trusted me with your precious babies. You shared your vulnerable stories. You welcomed me back as your families grew. And you stood by me through Covid, when so much was uncertain.

Every client who walked through my studio doors became a friend and left a little mark on my heart.

This business has given me far more than a career. It has helped me grow, taught me more than I could ever put into words, kept my creativity alive and carried me through some of life’s most challenging seasons.

I am incredibly proud of the level of service I was able to offer you — and deeply grateful for your trust. You honoured me by choosing me.

I will forever cherish every person, every conversation, every act of kindness and every story I got to capture.

But I have felt a strong pull towards another direction for some time now. I am not giving up photography and will continue to create art Magda Christie Art
I am also very excited to embark on a new journey as a life coach for creatives helping them navigate the challenging path of a creative life I have walked myself.
So I’m closing this chapter with enormous gratitude and love, and looking forward with an open heart to whatever comes next.

Thank you for almost 18 incredible years. Thank you for inviting me into your lives. And thank you for leaving such a beautiful mark on mine. ❤️

She never stops.
She gives, she worries, she fixes, she shows up — for everyone. Everyday.
She’s a mother, a partner, a friend, a woman with too many lists and no time for herself.
And yet… she forgets to celebrate the person holding it all together.
She spends her life creating memories for others… when was the last time she captured herself?”

That day I saw her pause. I saw her dive deep. And touch what’s true, what’s vulnerable, what’s joyful.
For a moment, she wasn’t planning, scheduling or taking care of anyone else.
She was just there. Breathing. Being present. Being seen.

In a world that teaches us to compare, to conform, to fit in - it takes a real courage to show up JUST AS YOU ARE - and honour your journey of pain, healing and growth.

Maybe that’s what this session is about.
Not flattering. Not picture-perfect. But TRUE.
This isn’t about beautiful portraits. It’s about coming home to herself.
Because SHE deserves to be seen — not for what she DOES,
but for WHO SHE IS.
