A moment for Clononey Castle. A unique private castle owned by a very special lady who gave up her castle last weekend to allow an ancestor of the original owners The Coughlan Family get married on the grounds followed by a medieval banquet in the dining room. Situated on the Offaly, Galway border, steeped in history, confiscated from the Coughlan family during the plantations by Cromwell and given to none other than the family of Ann Boleyn for a time, it is truly amazing to hear the history of these buildings and what people endured many years ago to keep their land, families and pride in place. We had the most amazing team of suppliers on board and we all helped each other out to create the most stunning setting and wedding. Thank you to Ron and Jen for trusting us to work on their wedding and Roz from Couple Photography for bringing this truly amazing wedding together and for putting up with us for the day.
