Fernwood Flowers Inspired by the seasons and boasting the best of Irish-grown flowers, Fernwood offers bespoke flowers for all occasions.

Brigid Riley is the creative force behind FERNWOOD. Recently returned to Ireland after a number of years working in the US and UK, her style is uniquely expressive, romantic and natural. Inspired by the movement and texture often found in natural landscapes, Brigid creates evocative compositions of flowers, foliage, fruits and branches in her studio in rural Co. Meath, often gathering materials fr

om the surrounding environment. Her work has been featured in a variety of settings from high profile corporate and political events to more intimate social occasions such as weddings, birthdays and private parties in the US and beyond.

In 2015 I quit my job in London… And moved back to Ireland to start a wedding flower business. 🌿

This was both a terrifying and exciting move. I had grown up in Ireland and I’d spent the previous decade designing luxury events in the US but I’d never worked for myself. 🌿

It was my chance to put my own stamp on a business, and build my brand around the values important to me like:

One island filled with unforgettable memories. ✨

From romantic castles to elegant country houses the length and breadth of Ireland- literally from Derry to Wexford in 2025- I’m supremely gratefully to all of you who crossed oceans to say “I do” in Ireland in 2025, as well as those celebrating closer to home — thank you for trusting me to bring your floral visions to life.

Also, huge appreciation for the wedding planners who return year after year and trust us to execute their clients’ vision seamlessly — true collaboration makes the magic happen.

I’m also so grateful for the incredible relationships we’ve built as a preferred vendor at some of Ireland’s most exclusive venues. Your personal recommendations to your couples truly mean the world to me and never go unnoticed.

We kicked off our 2025 Christmas wedding season this week — and on the first properly frosty morning too, which made it feel extra magical.
in winter is pure cosy heaven… fires crackling and full of festive atmosphere.

I had to share these florals with you because this is one of our most efficient (and most loved!) floral packages — big impact, great value.

For the ceremony, we created lush aisle meadows and a unity candle arrangement for the celebrant’s table. After the vows, we worked our floral magic:
🌿 the tall stems from the meadows were lifted and restyled into bud vases for the top table along with the unity arrangement.
🌿 the remaining meadow pieces were transformed into full centrepieces using a white ceramic bowl for a more polished look.

Not a single bloom went to waste — everything was reimagined for the reception.

Fresh flowers are absolutely a splurge, but they completely transform the mood and atmosphere of your wedding. Our goal is always to give you flexible, thoughtful floral design that shines in your ceremony and beautifully carries through to your tables afterward.

Designing florals for a bride who truly understands the art of the details was an absolute dream — clean lines, layered textures, and luxurious white blooms that brought a modern edge to old-world romance.

This stunning American couple brought effortless sophistication to their Irish “I do,” and with the bride being a wedding planner herself… let’s just say not a fork was out of place. Impeccable taste from beginning to end.
