Wooly Music Promotions Wooly Music Promotions aims to bring quality acts to Nenagh With these two venues gone, there has being a major loss to Nenagh both culturelly and financially.

The purpose of this new venture is to bring top quality irish and international entaintement to Nenagh


In the eighties and early nineties Nenagh of a premier town for bringing live acts to The Friary and O'Meara's Hotel


I saw the best of bands such as Something Happens, A House , Whipping Boy, Joshua Trio, Engine Alley, The Stunning, Memories, Golden Horde, Power of Dreams , Royal Flush, K

erbdog, Four of Us , Jack L , Aslan , Silent Noise Parade and many more. It is my ambition to kickstart this again and bring excellent live acts to venues such as The Kenyon, The Ormond Hotel and Nenagh Town Hall. The offical launch of Wooly music promotions will be 'Four Of Us' at the Live Venue in The Kenyon on the 12th of July 2013 and we have plans to bring one live act per month to Nenagh going forward.

Due to phenominal demand and interest Francis and the Machine are reuniting and putting the band back on the road after a major breakup two years ago when Matt Mounsey Kinane wanted to pursue a sole career !

They are busy practicing at present and will have all the old favourites such as how can i get over you

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE”…

Ger “WOLLY” Ryan, the current undefeated champion of white collar boxing is taking on Kevin “HORSE” Ryan in the battle of the “featherweights” in aid of the Relay for Life for Cancer on the 16th of August 2013 in the Ormond Hotel Nenagh.

Tickets are €20 with all proceeds going to the Relay for Life. I would like to say a huge thank you to Mary Doorley of Something about Mary Clothing Boutique, 48 Kenyon Street, who is sponsoring me for the night. Tickets can be purchased from Something about Mary for the big night.

Last year Mr Wholly entered the ring in a sheep’s mask… What will he turn up in this year??? YOU DECIDE…
Suggestions can be posted on this page with the best outfit picking up 2 free tickets for the night. Entries will be accepted no later than Wednesday the 14h of August with the winner being announced Thursday the 15th.
