It was a great weekend in Skryne where Skryne GFC played host to O'Donovan Rossa U14 Boys from Magherafelt, and U14 Girls from Claregalway in the Féile Peile na nÓg 2018. Here are a few shots from the two games which took place in Fr McManus Park, Skryne, on Saturday morning.

The Rathfeigh National School Parents Association held their second Rainbow Run today, and what a success it was! Three coach loads of children and parents were dropped off from the school to the starting point at Skryne GFC. After adding a little colour, they made their way down the Borrowaddy Road and back to the school where the after party began. I haven't missed one of these shows for the last 5 years. The format doesn't change too much but they are always great craic, and a pleasure to photograph.
As I edit the photos from a few hundred down to a manageable number for the slideshow, I see familiar faces that are now a year wiser and a year taller! And then there's the new kids in what I call the "messers seats" to the right of the altar. The faces are new but the sideshow antics are similar every year - always entertaining as they pull faces at each other and grab each others hats, seemingly oblivious of the carefully orchestrated show taking place in front of the altar!
So here is the 2016 selection of photos from Scoil Cholmcille, and a great opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and all the best for 2017!
