Introducing our headliner for April 25th
Too Far Fetched a Mullingar metalcore band, with influences from all across the metal spectrum; is the brainchild of Anto O’ Reilly. Formed in the wake of a personal tragedy, it was his therapeutic recording project to get out the emotions that he was experiencing, at the time.
It didn’t stay as a recording project for long though and he enlisted former Awaken Dominion bandmate, Ciarán Joy, on drums.
Though being an incredible vocalist in his own right, Anto, wanting to focus on guitar (with backing vocals), set out in search of a vocalist. The band were in luck, and in March 2023, Ciarán’s former keyboardist from Diabolicult, stepped up to the plate, having done vocals in the metalcore band Visions Of Apophis, who had played support to Awaken Dominion for their EP launch a decade beforehand.
November 2025, saw the arrival of Johnny Cruz on bass and backing vocals, a long-time fan of the band and an experienced performing musician, he fit the mould perfectly and soon was up to speed with the majority of their repertoire, adding a new element to the group and fresh ideas.
