This summer, something truly unique is coming to Westmeath…

A creative experience designed to inspire young people through photography, film, storytelling, nature, creativity, and self-expression.

Finding Light — Ag Lorg Solais is a one-week immersive creative learning camp created and led by award-winning photographer, filmmaker, creative director, and educator Jason Ó Fionnáin (Finnane), who brings over 23 years of professional experience in photography, filmmaking, visual storytelling, and creative arts education.

Jason has worked professionally across photography, film, tourism, and creative education for over two decades and has spent the past three years developing creative learning experiences with international students from Spain, France, and Italy through photography, storytelling, filmmaking, nature-based learning, and artistic exploration.

📸🎬 Set within the extraordinary surroundings of Belvedere House & Gardens, participants will explore:

✨ Team Challenges & Creative Projects
✨ Observation & Mindfulness Through Creativity

This is not a traditional summer camp.

It is a creative journey designed to help young people:

🌿 and discover new ways of seeing the world around them.

In a world dominated by screens and passive entertainment, Finding Light encourages young people to step outdoors, engage creatively, collaborate, observe, imagine, and create meaningful work together.
