THE STUNNING are one of Ireland’s most enduring and beloved rock bands, formed in Galway in 1987 by brothers Steve and Joe Wall. From the beginning they carved out a distinctive sound — a vibrant mix of rock’n’roll energy, twangy guitars and touches of country-rock — that resonated with audiences across the country. Their commitment to great songwriting and electrifying live performances quickly set them apart, building a following that grew with every show.

Renowned for being one of the best live acts in the country, the band have been headlining big shows and festivals in Ireland for over 15 years. Their regular Christmas shows in the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin are the stuff of legend, as was their last two Electric Picnic appearances. ***ARTIST SPOTLIGHT***
Galway songwriter Jamie McIntyre has been riding the crest of a wave this past year with his 2024 summer single ‘Over Galway Town’ becoming a viral smash hit amassing over 2.5 million streams on Spotify sitting amongst some of the world’s biggest artists in the viral charts.
In 2024, the singer was selected by Gavin James to join him as support in Paris on his European tour as part of Three’s City Stages initiative which also led to him working with Imelda May and performing at Electric Picnic, followed by performances with Liverpool songwriter Jamie Webster on his sold out shows at 3Olympia in Dublin and The Telegraph Building in Belfast. The success of ‘Over Galway Town’ has seen his music reach to far flung places across the globe and shows no signs of slowing down.
2025 has continued that trajectory with McIntyre’s debut Irish tour selling out shows in Dublin, Limerick and his hometown of Galway.
Jamie will be joining Hermitage Green at their show in King John's Castle, the May Bank Holiday weekend (May 3rd) Tickets available from Dolans.ie

Gavin James
Live at the Castle, King John's Castle, Friday June 5th
Tickets on sale Friday December 19th at 10am from Dolans.ie

Few singer-songwriters are so able to capture the stuff of our intimate lives - love, heartache, loss, joy - like Gavin James. Honing his performing and song writing gifts as a busker and pub performer in Dublin, since being championed by the likes of Ed Sheeran and the release of his early records (including debut studio album, 2016’s Bitter Pill) James has built a community of fans that have seen his music streamed three billion times across the globe and earn diamond and platinum records in multiple countries. He has also sold more than 250 000 tickets (and counting) worldwide with a live show that is as transporting as it is uplifting. In Fall 2023, James returns with a new single, “White Noise” that sees him expanding his creativity (his vocal is in a deeper signature, adding a magnetic resonance to the lyrics) and is a precursor to a new album of original material that he’s recording in a studio on a mountain outside his home city of Dublin.
