Some flowers are extra special to work on because of the people behind them 🥹

It was such a pleasure preserving Lucy and Sean’s wedding flowers and turning them into a keepsake they can enjoy forever.

Every time I looked at this bouquet while creating it, I couldn’t help but admire the beautiful colour palette and natural movement throughout the flowers. A huge thank you to the incredibly talented Tanika Daffy for creating such a stunning bouquet.

Lucy, it was an honour to create this piece to remind you of your wedding day. Wishing you and Sean a lifetime of happiness, love and all the wonderful moments that married life brings. ✨

Saturday was a very special day 🫶🏼

I spontaneously created a new piece, which I’ve titled “Someone Special” and I was lucky to be in the company of my friend Eimear .ie who captured some of the behind-the-scenes moments so perfectly 🥹

Over the last few years, my art has evolved so much through my designs, and that’s something I take great pride in. But lately, I’ve felt a pull back towards the way I created when I was younger — less structured, a little wilder, and led more by intuition than by a plan.

As an artist, I’m excited to explore that side of my creativity again. To create simply because. To follow curiosity, trust my instincts, and see where the flowers take me.🌸

“Someone Special” feels like the beginning of that new chapter, and I can’t wait to share more of the journey with you 🤍

I can’t quite believe I’m writing this…

Pressed Flowers by Nell has been awarded Winner of the Ireland – Gift category at the Female Founder Awards. 🌸🥹

What started as a love of flowers, creativity, and preserving memories has grown into something more than I could ever have imagined.

From pressing flowers at my kitchen table, to opening my studio in Limerick, to seeing my work stocked in Brown Thomas, every milestone has been made possible by the support of my customers, brides, stockists, team, family and friends.💜

This award is for everyone who has trusted me with their wedding bouquet, purchased a piece of my artwork, attended a workshop, shared my work, or cheered me on along the way.✨
