It's been a sad few days for Limerick Rock, we lost a legend. From countless great nights back in the day with Dirty Diamonds, to always supporting all things "Loud, yaaa" in our little city, Jonathan was as sound as they come - always the best chats. Love to his family and friends. Rest in Power Jonathan Ryan, you'll be missed by all that knew you.

"Stand Up, Rock Out, enjoy the show and be proud"

Electric Eel Shock (Japan) will play Dolans Kasbah on Wednesday the 18th November 2026. Tickets on sale now from Dolans.ie and Ticketmaster.

---

Electric Eel Shock are a glorious celebration of Classic Rock, Punk and Metal. A true power trio from the time before rock became fractured into a diverse multitude of sub-genres and we were all still one big happy Rock & Roll family.

Formed in Tokyo in the 90's, EES left their native Japan at the end of the millennium to see what they could make of America. They have since toured 40 countries around the world on 4 continents and performed on pretty much every major rock festival in Europe.

“EES are nothing short of awesome” – Brent Hinds (Mastodon)
