DUBLIN! we are delighted to be returning to at the end of the month. ☘️

Theme: DISCOVERY
Date: September 25th

Tickets will be on sale at 9am this Thursday LOCAL time.

Speakers go for free and can bring a friend for free. Think of something you discovered, the discovery of someone, something you learned about yourself, a hilarious finding on a night out, something that surprised you, someone who taught you something. If you have a story to tell you can apply to do so via our website!

Have you got a story to tell in Cork, Galway, or Clare?

🌙The word Seanchoíche is a portmanteau, blending the words Seanchaí (Irish for storyteller) and oíche (night).

Not only is the name of the event a hilarious pun which (we are sure) you laughed out loud at, it is also a celebration of an important Irish tradition. Most storytellers at Seanchoíche have never done anything like it before, but everyone has a unique story to tell.

All Together Now - our third year! 💚

What an absolute blast of a weekend. We are honestly honoured to host the Seanchoíche Tent each year, bringing over 50 people down to the festival for free to share their stories. Stories about music, stories in Irish, stories about strangers, mistakes, discovery and festivals. Each one bringing laughter, tears sometimes, and sparking others in the crowd to think of their own story, and maybe even jot it down for our story wall.

It was such a special weekend at the Seanchoíche tent, and we can’t wait to be back next year.

Seanchoíche - an Irish storytelling collective is coming back to Sydney on 7th August and we want to hear your stories.

The theme of the night is CHANGE. Stories can be monologues, personal anecdotes, fictional tales or anything that you consider a story.
