House Wine Bar & Taproom, is also, Letterkenny's only dedicated wine, cocktail and craft beer bar. Aidy's Bar, The Downtown Bar and Voodoo Lounge have a more traditonal Irish feel. We have regular live music in the Lounge, as well as all big sporting event's, available on 8 of our 52" HD, TV screen's. We also have lot's of exciting act's in Voodoo club, ranging from local to international act's, covering many genre's. At the ceremony, at the IMRO HQ in Dublin, awards were presented to the top leading live music venue in each of the following regions: Dublin, Leinster (excluding Dublin), Connacht, Munster and Ulster. The annual Award's celebrate the dedication and passion, of those who work in, Ireland’s live music venue's. Hundreds of venues across the country were considered for the Awards, 25 were shortlisted by more than 8,000 IMRO members. Venues were judged on their commitment to providing the core elements that make for a great live music venue - atmosphere, sound, lighting, staging, diversity of programming and most importantly, the staff and management at each venue. Live music venues and festivals play a pivotal role in the music industry in Ireland, giving international and home-grown artists a platform to engage with fans and build new audiences. They also play a central role in urban and rural communities across the country, providing a social gathering place, for audiences of all ages and musical tastes. This in turn contribute's hugely to the domestic economy. Victor Finn, CEO of IMRO said: “An extensive and vibrant venue, is the lifeline of the live music industry.
