Today, I couldn’t be prouder and more grateful:
𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. What started as a small step in uncertain times has grown into something beyond my wildest dreams. I thought beginning during a global pandemic was the most intense chapter we’d face, but this past year showed me otherwise, and in the best possible way. Not only are we celebrating five years today, but also one year of Lena Freitag Weddings in Ireland. Opening our second office, welcoming a wonderful new team member, exploring breathtaking venues, planning unique celebrations, and even winning two awards… it has been a year unlike any other.

But milestones are never built alone. To my family and friends, thank you for standing by me. To Kellie, who supports me daily in countless ways, I couldn’t do this without you. To our talented vendors across Europe, your creativity and dedication make excellence possible. And to all of you here: every like, comment, and message fuels us more than you know.
And last, but most of all: to our couples. You are the reason for it all. Your trust, your stories, your love – they are the heart of everything we do, and the greatest honor of these five years.

As the ceremony began, guests were met with panoramic views of Lake Como and the beautiful strings of Deb Jones Music, creating an atmosphere filled with anticipation and joy. During the champagne reception, they gathered in inviting lounge areas, sipping, laughing, and soaking in the scenery.

The evening continued with exceptional cuisine, fine wines, and heartfelt moments – each one designed to be savoured. By the night’s end, guests carried home not just memories of the day, but the feeling of having been part of a love story they’ll never forget.

𝗔 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗥 & 𝗔’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

We’re so excited to finally share a first look at this extraordinary elopement from April – a celebration as bold and unique as the couple themselves.

R & A, a couple from Germany, wanted a day that truly reflected their style and their love for Ireland. Their vision? Dark, moody, and effortlessly them. Our role – alongside an incredible vendor team – was to take that vision and bring it to life with intention and artistry.

For their ceremony, they chose a setting as atmospheric as their aesthetic: the hauntingly beautiful Muckross Abbey in Killarney. For the legal vows, we stepped across the street to Muckross Park, followed by portraits in the wild beauty of Killarney National Park and an intimate dinner with family at the Muckross Park Hotel.

The colors? Deep burgundy, black, and rich reds – perfectly in tune with the drama of the day. And the weather? Moody skies that made the whole scene feel like something out of a gothic love story (because let’s be honest, a bright sunny day just wouldn’t have felt the same).

R & A, thank you for trusting us to create a celebration that was unapologetically yours. And to the incredible vendor team – especially Seán for capturing every detail so perfectly – we couldn’t have done it without you.
