Our Story

Sol y Sombra is a unique venue in the pretty town of Killorglin. Here our speciality is Tapas and Wine served in our restaurant from Wednesday to Sunday. As a fully renovated church we are a special location for those getting married and can hold civil ceremonies for up to 125 guests. We also provide traditional food for weddings to cater for those who are less adventurous with tapas. We are also big fans of music and our stage and acoustics are a perfect combination for musicians therefore we hold live gigs throughout the year that are popular with locals and those from nearby towns. We have a private room upstairs that can seat 25 people for eating and fit more for finger food thus we are also a great location for private parties and dinners, our food, service and atmosphere will help ensure customers have the best experience possible. So whatever your needs come to Sol y Sombra for a unique dining experience.
