MEET THE CAST ✨

Here’s Robyn O Doherty 💃🏼

Robyn O Doherty, a killarney native, started dancing at the age of five and has competed at CLRG Munster championships and National championship placing top 20 and as a World Championship Qualifier. Robyn has danced with Siamsa Tire’s ‘Turas’ and is delighted to be back for a third season with Gaelic Roots. Robyn is a talented fine artist painter and hopes to master in Art Restoration and Conservation.

Up next we have Seamus Morrison! 🙌🏻

Seamus Morrison is 24 years of age and has danced for the Mulcahy School of Irish Dance. He has won numerous world medals and has two Munster titles. He has danced all around the world and has performed with various shows such as Danceperados of Ireland & Lord of the dance. His most memorable dancing experience was his first Munster Championship title and placing 7th in the World Championships in Montreal.

Next up is dancer/musician Ellen Burke! 💃🏼🎵

A true virtuoso, Ellen is a talented dancer, harpist, and tin whistle player, whose multifaceted artistry shines on stage. An accomplished musician, singer, and dancer, she holds a prestigious World Medal in Irish Céilí Dancing, as well as both an All-Ireland title for her exceptional vocal abilities and for her mastery of the tin whistle. We are proud to have her share her incredible talents with us, enriching our show with her passion and skill.

MEET THE CAST! ✨

It’s Ciara Geaney! 🎵

Ciara Geaney has tried a number of instruments but her passion is the piano. She began her studies with classical music and found her true talent when she started playing traditional piano.
She is from Di**le Co. Kerry where her family own and run The Di**le Pub, which is well renowned for its Irish music and dance throughout the summer season.
Ciara is no stranger to the stage. She has performed with Siamsa Tíre, the National Folk Theatre of Ireland since she was 10 and in 2022 performed as an Irish Dancer with their new Irish Music and Dance show, ‘Turas’ .
Ciara is currently studying Traditional Irish Music and Irish at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick and has toured as a pianist with ‘Celtic Spirit of Ireland’ in France and is now playing piano here in Gaelic Roots. Ciara’s brother David Geaney, a world champion Irish dancer has his own Irish Music and Dance Show, ‘Velocity’, in which Ciara also performs.
