🕯️ An Old Irish New Year Tradition 🇮🇪

In many Irish homes, a candle was lit on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day and placed in the window, a symbol of hope, welcome, and guidance for the year ahead.

It was believed the light would invite good fortune, peace, and protection into the home, while reminding us that even in dark times, a small light can carry great meaning.

🎉 Happy New Year from all the cast and crew at Gaelic Roots The Show.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to see us this past year! As always, without your support, we simply wouldn’t be able to do what we love doing night after night, season after season, year after year.

We can’t wait to get back on stage again in April and entertain you all with our award winning show.

Ahead of our finale show tonight we would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your support during our 2025 season. Thank you to all who have come to see our show, thank you to the tour companies, tour directors, and coach drivers who have recommended the show to clients, Thank you as always to the management and staff at the Killarney Avenue Hotel, and all at The O Donoghue Ring Collection who are a pleasure to work with every year and so professional and accommodating. The biggest thank you to our amazing cast and crew our wonderful musical Director Conor Moriarty, our super talented musicians, dancers and behind the scenes crew, you amaze us with your incredible talent, enthusiasm and dedication and you make it all possible and so much fun. We look forward to returning in April for our 2026 season.
