The newly renovated interiors of The Abbey retain all of the period charms with a modern contemporary twist. Our historical building has its own Chapel built in 1852 which showcases breathtaking, original stained glass windows. The landscaped courtyard enclosing the rear of the property is ideal for outdoor drinks receptions and picture-perfect photos, and the beautifully appointed open plan banquet room is perfectly arranged to enjoy our lavish wedding menus. The Abbey has 38 contemporary bedrooms, including two prestigious wedding suites. Our bespoke designed wedding suite boasts a dedicated getting ready area for the morning of the wedding and makes the ideal setting to start your wedding day. After the big day you and up to 90 of your guests can enjoy a good night’s sleep before extending the celebrations to the next day. A range of packages are available at The Abbey to make your wedding reception and breakfast delightful for all of your guests, and your first meal as a married couple, a memorable one. From arrival drinks and canapes, to midnight food when the party is in full swing, we will work with you to create your perfect package.
