It's an absolute delight to announce our July 27 musical theatre course at Teenage Stage International Summer School will perform this masterpiece!
Page to stage in seven days.. This Teen Edition of Anaïs Mitchell’s haunting, jazz-inflected folk opera follows Orpheus’ mythical quest to overcome Hades and regain the favour of his one true love, Eurydice.

This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.

Teenage Stage International Summer School office is now closing until the Autumn! sincere thanks to all our pastoral care and medical teams, film teachers, screen acting coaches, choreographers, drama and singing coaches, all at Bandon Grammar School and Clongowes Wood College SJ and all our special industry guests, Kate-Anne Fenton, Zita Monahan, Nick Dunning, Baz Black and Grace Collender for making this July even more special. Sincere thanks to all at Dance Cork Firkin Crane, Vinny Osborne and Paul Macken also.
Finally, a huge thank you to parents for your support, faith, trust in what we do! Your wonderful emails and texts. We are privileged indeed.
