🎶 Cornelius Lyons Harp Summer Festival Returns to Finuge! 🎶

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, Teach Siamsa Finuge is delighted to welcome the 2nd Cornelius Lyons Harp Summer Festival, celebrating the rich harping tradition of North Kerry and Ireland.

Taking place in the heart of Finuge, the festival honours the legacy of renowned Kerry harper Cornelius Lyons and features a weekend of workshops, music, heritage and community.

We are delighted to welcome acclaimed Kerry harpist Deirdre Granville as this year’s tutor. An award-winning harpist, singer and educator from Di**le, Deirdre is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading traditional harp performers and tutors.

What a pleasure it was to welcome a wonderful CIE Tours group to Finuge yesterday!

Our visitors enjoyed refreshments at McCarthys Bar Finuge followed by a visit to Sheehan’s Thatched Cottage and a display at Teach Siamsa Finuge of traditional Irish music, song, dance and storytelling, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of North Kerry. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our talented performers who helped make the visit so special.

Safe travels to all our guests as they continue their journey around Ireland – we hope you'll carry a little piece of Finuge with you! 🇮🇪☘️

We are delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for this year’s Cornelius Lyons Harp Summer School & Festival, taking place from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st June.

We look forward to welcoming back familiar faces and new participants alike for another special weekend celebrating the rich harp tradition of North Kerry and honouring the legacy of Cornelius Lyons.

This year’s programme offers a wonderful mix of learning, history, music and community, set against the beautiful backdrop of Ballybunion and North Kerry.
