🚛🚫😢 Event Postponed – A Difficult but Necessary Decision
Due to rising fuel costs linked to the current situation in Iran, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s event in support of the trucking community.
It is with a heavy heart that the committee has decided to postpone the event this year. With the ongoing situation in Iran driving a significant increase in fuel costs, we feel it would be too much to ask of the already burdened trucking community and hauliers across Ireland.
Over the past two years, we have received unbelievable support from drivers and operators who have gone above and beyond to make this event what it is today. Because of that, we believe it’s only right that we stand with them now, rather than asking for their continued support during such a challenging time.
This event has become something we all look forward to throughout the winter months, and we know it has found its place as a key date in the trucking calendar — a true kick-off to the show season. We understand that many will be disappointed by this news, and we share that disappointment deeply.
However, the committee feels strongly that supporting the hauliers who have supported us is the fairest and most respectful decision we can make.
