On Friday at Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival we were invited to dance at the ‘International Culture Day’ where foreign dignatories were invited to lay wreaths at the Donegal Tunnel Tigers Memorial. 3 dignitories on the day from Embassy of Poland - ambassador of Poland to Ireland, Ukraine - secretary of the Consulate and Colombia - Consul and Ambassador. Pat the Cope Gallagher T.D. and Charles Ward T.D. Prayers were led by Fr. Moore P.P. and Fr. Peter. This memorial is for the many men from the Rosses and surrounding areas that lost their lives mining or subsequently to illness from mining. It was a lovely tribute.

We have had a busy week between working and dancing. Thanks to The Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival for supporting us. It has been a great success and still a couple of days left to enjoy before the 2025 Mary is crowned on Sunday night. If you can’t make it, it is on TG4 with the one and only Daniel O’Donnell as compère, always an entertaining night 🥰
